Job Description

  • Oversee and manage all import / export activities, ensuring compliance with customs regulations (PPJK process) - Plan, coordinate, and schedule operations to ensure smooth and timely customs clearance - Assist clients with inquiries and troubleshoot any issues related to customs, logistics, and documentation - Monitor team KPIs, evaluate performance, and provide guidance to drive continuous improvement - Review daily operations and reports from Assistant Managers & Supervisors to ensure efficient functioning - Stay updated on changes in customs regulations and procedures, ensuring timely and accurate documentation submission - Collaborate with other departments to improve overall operational efficiency - Conduct training sessions for the team on customs compliance, best practices, and operational improvements - Support continuous improvement initiatives - Perform other related tasks as assigned

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in Transport Management, preferably in Sea Transport or a related field - Min. high conversational proficiency in English - At least 10 years of experience handling imports in the Freight Forwarding industry, with 5 years in a managerial role, overseeing a team of more than 12 subordinates, including Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Staff - Active PPJK license - Strong management experience with firm and concise communication skills
