Purpose of Position
The Country Manager, Indonesia, is accountable for the commercial aspects of the company’s operations. The initial focus will be to start up and lead the business expansion for short‑term and long‑term. The main responsibilities include leading the execution of current initiatives to achieve sales / share growth targets, launching new products, and developing and executing new strategies that strengthen the company’s position. The role also requires on‑ground leadership of the local team and its dealer / partners, which is critical to sustainable success.
Responsibilities
- Deliver monthly and annual revenue and profit targets, including timely and accurate monthly sales and expense forecasts.
- Manage the distribution channel, potentially including a direct sales force.
- Cultivate relationships with top customers, universities, and key opinion leaders.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Build a local team in Indonesia to deliver results and performance; hire, train, and develop personnel as outlined in the Strategic Plan or as needs require in the future to migrate toward value / solutions competencies.
- Identify and prioritize top customer segments; develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies to maximize sales and share potential. This includes identifying product gaps and coordinating those product needs with the global Business Units.
- Establish trade show strategy and lead execution.
- Lead the business within Envista’s Standards of Conduct and Compliance.
- Represent Envista’s interests by promoting and representing the company at exhibits, trade shows, conventions, product demonstrations, and industry association activities.
Job Requirements
Education : Degree / Diploma in Marketing, Business, Science or related discipline.Experience : Minimum 8 years of commercial‑related experience in sales and marketing, with at least 3 years in an appropriate size US / European multinational organization. Direct experience / knowledge in dental / medical equipment and / or professional consumables.Language Skills : Fluent English – oral and written.Computer Skills : Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Travel : In‑country high (50% to 70%); possess own transport and valid driving license.Operating Company
