This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Staff Fullstack Engineer (Python / Vue.js), AI Engineering : Duo Chat in EMEA.

We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Staff Fullstack Engineer to help advance AI-powered collaboration tools within a leading engineering team. In this role, you'll shape the future of AI chat experiences by integrating cutting-edge technologies like Google Vertex AI and large language models, while building scalable, high-performance systems using Python, Ruby on Rails, and Vue.js. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver innovative features that redefine developer workflows. This fully remote opportunity offers a dynamic, asynchronous work environment where creativity, autonomy, and technical leadership thrive.

Accountabilities

  • Design, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable features and improvements using Python, Vue.js, and Ruby on Rails
  • Collaborate with product management, UX, and backend teams to deliver impactful solutions in a fast-paced, iterative environment
  • Integrate AI and LLM technologies to expand and refine the platform's conversational and automation capabilities
  • Contribute to system optimization, ensuring code performance, security, and maintainability
  • Participate in code reviews, advocate for best practices, and identify opportunities to reduce technical debt
  • Support production operations, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining service reliability across distributed systems
  • Drive technical excellence through mentorship, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Extensive fullstack engineering experience with a focus on Python and frontend development using Vue.js or similar frameworks
  • Proven understanding of GraphQL, RSpec, and web application testing frameworks
  • Background in building and scaling AI-driven or data-intensive applications, ideally involving LLMs or generative AI
  • Experience diagnosing and optimizing performance across both frontend and backend layers
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote, asynchronous environment
  • Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage complex projects independently
  • Deep understanding of agile methodologies and a passion for innovation in AI-driven development
  • Bonus : experience with Ruby on Rails, Google Vertex AI, or similar cloud-based AI integrations
