About the role

As the Head of Logistics at PT Solusi Insan Paradise, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's supply chain and logistics operations. This full-time position is based in Jakarta and will involve overseeing the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods and materials to support the company's manufacturing and distribution activities.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and implementing logistics strategies to optimise transportation, warehousing, and inventory management
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
  • Managing a team of logistics professionals and ensuring the timely delivery of products to customers
  • Analysing data and performance metrics to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement
  • Maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Fostering strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other logistics partners
  • Contributing to the company's overall strategic planning and decision-making

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a senior logistics or supply chain management role, preferably within the shipping company and trucking company
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management, transportation logistics (vessel and trucking), and inventory control best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve operational excellence
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong knowledge of incoterms, freight contracts, and trade documentation
