Talent Service
Manages and oversees the Talent Service function of Executive Recruitment, New Joiner, Offering & Onboarding Admin, to ensure services are delivered across the organisation in a cohesive fashion, meeting business objectives, employee needs and the defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Serves as the escalation point for Talent Service-related approvals, issues and exceptions
Collaborates with BU stakeholders including HR Business Partners, BU HR leaders and managers to ensure consistent delivery of the talent related HR services
Leads initiatives and works with the Centre of Excellence (CoE) to improve the end-to-end HR delivery processes
Cascades communications to Talent Service team as necessary and manage team expectations / questions
Comprehends the relationship between the HR concepts across various functions and applies an integrated approach to the Talent Service function
Directs quality assurance activities to monitor and improve proficiency and productivity, and drives consistent work quality within the team through regular reviews and approvals
Translates knowledge of HR function into tools, processes and applications that maximizes efficiencies and effectiveness of the Talent Service
Identifies and implements opportunities for improving Talent Service, and ensures that Talent Service practice is always aligned to the its mission / vision
Evaluates and owns the updates to the Talent Service Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance process execution
Manages department resources to support and meet employee and department level requirements
Puts in place a sustainable supervisory structure to handle day-to-day and long-term department needs
Performs additional duties assigned, as and when required, especially when relevant to the role or future skill development
People Management
Allocates resources, including job rotation and cross training to facilitate knowledge sharing
Ensures Talent Service resource strategy is equipped to respond to business demand variations
Develops contingency plans to manage attrition and skill gaps within the Talent Services functions
Establishes goals and KPIs for each Talent Service process team and evaluates team’s performance on ongoing basis throughout the year
Provides leadership, direction, guidance and feedback to Talent Service team members regarding development needs and opportunities
Ensures appropriate counselling and / or disciplinary actions are taken within the established GAR policy
Maintains team morale, supports the team in managing day-to-day stress related to work and is empathetic towards the team members
Oversees the training and career development of the Talent Service team to ensure competency in performing assigned tasks across the HR functions
Job Requirements :
Min Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or any related major from reputable University.
Strong working knowledge of sourcing tools and techniques, including Linkedin Recruiter, job boards, social media platforms and professional networks.
Experience leading teams, proven ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing, and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.
Excellence verbal and written communications skills in English to develop strong position descriptions, effectively engage with candidates, provide clear updates to stakeholders.
Excellence interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers, colleagues, and candidates, active listening skills, the ability to communicate effectively across cultures, and negotiate effectively with the internal and external.
Proven ability to handle multiple open requisitions and prioritize tasks in high volume recruitment environment.
Advances skills in Ms Office (Word, Excel. Power Point).
