Lending Product Manager

Website :   https : / / nikel.com / Role Overview We’re looking for a  Lending Product Manager  to take ownership of our loan products, from origination through to servicing.

You’ll play a key role in shaping our lending strategy, collaborating with engineering, data, operations, and commercial teams to deliver high-impact features across our loan origination systems (LOS) and credit infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities Own the full product lifecycle for lending products : ideation, planning, execution, launch, and iteration.

Design and improve workflows for invoice financing, and personal loans.

Drive platform enhancements including underwriting, risk rules, scorecards, and disbursement logic.

Translate business and regulatory requirements into user stories and functional specs.

Collaborate closely with engineering to prioritize backlogs and deliver product features on time.

Monitor product performance and customer feedback to continuously improve usability and portfolio performance.

Support internal and external stakeholders (e.g., lenders, partners) with product training, demos, and documentation.

Requirements 4+ years of experience in product management, preferably in lending, fintech, or financial services.

Strong understanding of digital lending flows, including origination, KYC, underwriting, and repayment.

Experience working with technical teams and familiarity with agile methodologies.

Data-driven mindset with ability to derive insights from metrics and user behavior.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Bonus : familiarity with LOS platforms, or integration with banking / payment APIs.
