Job Description :
Reports to Management, Regional, Other ad hoc reports, self-development and risk management control :
1. Responsible for preparation of financial reporting process to Group Head office (Prudential Corporation Asia) based in Hong Kong (IFRS basis) and ensure that all the reports are submitted timely and accurately.
2. Responsible for reporting process and presentation to internal management, related to financial performance and monitoring and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all the reports.
3. Review and back up for daily / regular reports to internal management.
4. Assist for any ad hoc report / presentation required by internal management related to local statutory reporting and undertake special project as directed.
5. Be able to explain and settle any issues / matters encountered in job.
6. To ensure that there is no material risk either financial risk or non-financial risk that could damage company reputation in operating our day to day business.
7. Self-developments by keep learning and updates on life insurance products and process, Indonesian and international accounting standards (IFRS), OJK regulations, and soft skills.
8. Provide new ideas / initiatives and or take a lead to improve current process and or rectify the current weakness (e.g. automation the current manual reporting process).
Job Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in accounting
At least 4 years relevant experience either in accounting or reporting.
Preferably have experience in public accounting firm.
Preferably have experience or knowledge in insurance industry.
Thorough knowledge of corporate financial statement and life insurance knowledge
An appreciation of business objectives and managerial problems
Handle confidential information and material with the highest degree of professional responsibility
Handle basic accounting issues without supervision
Able to work with multiple tasking, proactive and initiative
Mature, positive attitude and self-confident
High integrity
An ability to establish and develop constructive relationships based on trust, respect and reliability with those in the business at all levels and externally
Good people and project management skills
Excellent, balanced, independent judgement
Works in an effective and efficient manner and achieves results
Well developed written and oral communication skills i.e. to write and speak with clarity. (English as well as Bahasa Indonesia).
