Summary of Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and oversee the hygiene and sanitation policies and procedures
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with hygiene standards
- Provide training and guidance to staff on best practices for hygiene and sanitation
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate hygiene practices into daily operations
- Implement corrective action plans based on audit findings and guest feedback
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations related to hygiene
- Prepare hygiene reports for management and recommend improvements as needed
- Lead the hygiene team in achieving departmental goals and objectives
Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience in Hygiene Management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role; preferably within the hospitality industryIn-depth knowledge of food safety principles and best practices; HACCP certification is desirableStrong leadership skills with an acute sense of good judgment and swift performance improvement. Can thrive in a high-pressure environment and has a strong operational strategy that is timelyIs well-versed in project management and result-orientedExcellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, proficient in data analysis and statistical aptitudeAbility to develop and conduct training programsEloquent in English communication in both written and spokenDiploma from Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major is required. Bachelor’s Degree is desirable
