The Finance and Operations Specialist will play a critical role in managing the financial and operational functions of the organization, with a particular focus on billing and internal tax compliance. This position involves ensuring accurate and timely billing processes, maintaining tax compliance, and supporting financial and operational strategies that align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Billing Management :
Oversee and manage the entire billing process to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve client billing issues.
Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure accurate billing information and customer satisfaction.
Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices.
Internal Tax Compliance :
Ensure compliance with all internal tax regulations and filing requirements.
Prepare and submit tax returns and reports in a timely manner.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the organization.
Collaborate with external tax advisors and auditors as necessary.
Financial Management and Reporting :
Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to management.
Operational Support :
Streamline and enhance operational processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with various departments to identify and implement process improvement initiatives.
Ensure operational practices align with organizational goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Work closely with finance, operations, and other departments to support integrated business processes.
Participate in cross-functional projects to drive business improvements.
