IT Operations Engineer (Data Center)

Key Responsibilities :

• Prioritize and manage security initiatives within infrastructure and operations teams using a risk-based approach.
• Provide technical input on system changes, deployments, and process improvements from a security lens.
• Support and maintain various security tools, automate tasks where possible, and ensure smooth operations.
• Handle incidents involving apps, servers, storage, and networks; conduct root cause analysis for major issues.
• Offer backup support for other infrastructure areas, such as server administration.
• Ensure systems align with internal standards and external compliance regulations.
• Regularly analyze and report on risks, gaps, system performance, and tool coverage.
• Collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams to design secure, tailored solutions.
• Apply patches to Windows and / or Linux servers as needed.
• Support end-user teams during security events.
• Maintain clear and detailed technical documentation and help mentor junior engineers.
• Follow internal processes and suggest improvements as needed.
