Qualifications & Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineeringfield is preferred
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in property / building management.
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance, safety regulations, and financial management.
- Experience in Green Building management (e.g., LEED, Greenship certification) is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Property Management Systems (PMS), and Building Automation Systems (BAS) is a plus.
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and proactive Building Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and tenant relations of commercial or residential properties. The ideal candidate will ensure the building operates efficiently, adheres to safety regulations, and maintains high standards of service for tenants and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
Building Operations & Maintenance
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the property, including maintenance, security, and housekeeping.Conduct regular inspections to ensure the building is in top condition.Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.Coordinate repairs, renovations, and emergency response plans.Financial & Budget Management
Prepare and manage the building’s operational budget, ensuring cost-efficiency.Monitor expenses, negotiate vendor contracts, and oversee procurement processes.Ensure timely collection of rental fees, service charges, and other payments.Tenant & Stakeholder Relations
Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing concerns and service requests.Ensure compliance with lease agreements and property regulations.Foster strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and relevant authorities.Regulatory Compliance & Safety
Ensure the property complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental laws.Implement and oversee emergency preparedness plans, including fire safety measures.Manage insurance requirements and risk assessments.Team Leadership & Supervision
Supervise on-site staff, including technicians, security personnel, and housekeeping teams.Conduct performance evaluations, training, and ensure staff adhere to company policies.Coordinate with property owners and senior management for strategic improvements.
