Job Summary :
We are seeking a talented and motivated Biopharm Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities :
Overall purpose of job
- To develop Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions (WMFTS) direct customer sales for Biopharm sector in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia and its vicinity
- As a key point of contact for customers, answering queries, discussing with the end-users for URS development, providing technical advice and introducing new products
- To visit customers, promote, understand, trial, and provide solutions
- To liaise and grow existing WMFTS customers in Biopharm sector within Bandung, West Java, Indonesia
- To provide customers the most suitable pump / equipment selection for the required application
- To rapidly market and grow WMFTS products to new prospects in a strategically planned manner
- To offer solutions that satisfies any application / budget / timescale constraints in line with customers’ needs
- To grow and develop new customers base for Biopharm sector.
Main duties and responsibilities
Aggressive marketing by visitations to new and existing customersTo maintain updated opportunities pipeline tracking constantly through CRMTo record visit reports / appointment through CRMResponse to all emails and handling request promptlyContact with customers for consultative selling, focus on the client’s problem and show how it can be solved with product or servicesDescribe the product and advise customers on how best to use the products or services providedEstablishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customersAccountable to monthly orders target and actual intakes.Having a thorough understanding of the targeted industriesPrepare and deliver product presentations to existing customers and prospective customersDemonstrate to customers by value proposition that our product or service will best satisfy their needsTo provide customers and potential customers with accurate technical information sufficient to enable sound decisions to be made on the purchase and use of WMFTS products.
To provide detailed quotations both for standard and engineered solutionsNegotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditionsLiaising with other members of the sales team and other technical expertsProvides product, equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests promptly.Report on performance against targets, forecasting, competition, key market information’s and any complain from customers.Develops in-depth knowledge about customer history, organization relationships, competitive issues, potential opportunities and transfers this knowledge to the organization for use in business maintenance and growthEnsure all associated files both electronic and hard copies are kept up to date, including client contact dataTo regularly attend and conduct the selected exhibitions and provide necessary market reports / trendsAccept any special projects or tasks as required by the Management teamSkills / Experience :
Interpersonal Interaction Requirements :
Able to communicate both written and verbally in English and local language.Able to present to customer / colleague in Power point slidesFoster close working relationships with customers and colleaguesUnderstand the customer needs, responsive and attentiveAttention to detail, analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesWorking in a largely unsupervised mannerWorking within procedural guidelines in a methodical mannerProactive with strong decision making, persuasion, leadership and communication skills.Education and Experience Requirements :
Formal relevant degree on Pharma / Biopharm, Biotechnology, Chemical EngineeringExcellent sales track record, preferably from the pumps / machineryAdvanced English and Bahasa Indonesia writing / reading / speaking competenciesPossess extensive knowledge of Bioprocessing, applications, components, functions, and the scientific process that make system workSpecial qualifications
Negotiation skillsResults and growth orientatedSales, communication and presentation skillsTechnical skills such as process knowledge of Biopharm sector, products being sold, including knowledge of the plant functionsUnderstand the scientific processes that make the products workAbility to assist customers with any technical problemsGood relationship and collaboration with Biopharm associationsComputer competencies required for this position
