Senior General Ledger Accountant

As a Senior General Ledger Accountant within our team, you will report to the Finance Controlling Manager for Shared Servicesand will play a key role in ensuring the effectiveness of the ongoing financial operations, and will be expected to take complete ownership for your areas of focus.

• Preparing journal entries and reconciliations to maintain the accuracy of the general ledger including fixed assets, inventory and accruals
• Ensuring all transactions are recorded in accordance with IFRS
• Completing monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for management while adhering to required deadlines
• Preparing all Audit Schedules and assisting with Audit inquiries
• Preparing statutory compliance submissions, including audit, tax and secretarial
• Ensuring work is completed in accordance with the Group Internal Control Policies
• Ensuring controls are maintained in the fixed asset listing and vendor listing
