JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Purpose
Retail Operation Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the stores' operations. This role involves coordinating various operational functions to ensure efficiency, productivity, and the achievement of organizational goals. Operations Manager is also tasked with improving processes, optimizing resource allocation, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
1. Operations Excellence :
- Supervise and manage the operations team, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback.
- Ensure the smooth execution of daily operational activities, including sales thru, products allocation, inventory management, and logistics.
2. Process Improvement :
Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in operational processes and implement strategies for streamlining workflows.Introduce and monitor key performance indicators (i.e : UPT, ATV, AUR ) to sales team (DMs) and store team to measure operational efficiency and track improvements.3. Resource Management :
Allocate resources effectively to meet sales targets, project deadlines, and service-level agreements.Collaborate with Ops. Trainer to ensure the training, and skill development to enhance team performance.4. Quality Control :
Implement quality assurance measures to maintain consistent product, mystery shoppers or service quality.Develop and enforce quality control standards and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.5. Budget Management :
Collaborate with finance teams to develop and manage operational budgets.Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and safety.Requirements
Degree in Business or Marketing with 10 years of significant experience in Sales and Retail Operations Management.Strong drive with sound business / commercial acumen skillsExemplary planning and execution skills : establish plans, manage and improve process, drive team executionSuperior analytical skills, proficient with numbers and interpretationGood business development and negotiation skillsHigh impact communication and influencing skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to build relationships and deal with multiple partnersAbility to lead, coach and engage teamsLOCATION
