Head of Engineering (Oleochemical)

Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia , an executive recruitment company, is recruiting on behalf of a leading company in the oleochemicals industry. As the company continues to grow, our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Engineering to lead maintenance operations, investment projects, and production optimization across its facilities. The position is based in Indonesia .

Responsibilities :

• Plan and oversee all repair and maintenance activities in production and supporting facilities to ensure smooth operations and on-time delivery.
• Identify issues in production lines, machines, or equipment and lead improvement projects to resolve them.
• Monitor and control maintenance-related costs (labor, equipment, energy, materials) in line with company targets.
• Communicate regularly with the team (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to promote continuous cost-saving efforts.
• Prepare and manage the annual maintenance and investment budget; track performance and drive departmental savings projects.
• Lead and monitor all active investment projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
• Optimize team structure and ensure succession planning for key roles.
• Set clear goals for team members, review progress, and identify development needs.
• Work with HR to implement training and development programs that support both employee growth and company goals.
