Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our production processes in the Flavor and Fragrance sector of the chemical industry. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in manufacturing operations, supply chain management, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities :
Oversee day-to-day plant operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry regulations.
Lead production planning, inventory management, and resource allocation to meet production targets and quality standards.
Collaborate with R&D, procurement, and sales teams to ensure alignment between production capabilities and business goals.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on lean manufacturing, waste reduction, and cost optimization.
Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards specific to the chemical and fragrance industry.
Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance schedules to prevent downtime.
Build and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
Analyze operational data to drive strategic decisions and present performance reports to senior leadership.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the chemical, flavor, or fragrance industry .
Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing diverse teams and promoting an inclusive work environment.
Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations in chemical manufacturing.
Knowledge of supply chain logistics, inventory control, and demand planning.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Commitment to sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.
