Uraian Tugas7+ years’ experience in coal sourcing / procurement or trading Excellent knowledge of thermal coal Good network of coal mines / suppliers in the Indonesian region English is required, Bahasa is beneficial but not required Ability and desire to travel to meet with and build relationships with suppliers Good mathematical ability and understanding of operations, shipping and contract terms
Responsibilities :
- Work to develop, maintain and grow sourcing / procurement relationships with thermal coal mines and producers in the Indonesian region
- Travel to meet with suppliers and foster close and long term relationships, driving margins and cost savings
- Provide up to date pricing, research and intelligence to the central team to inform decisions on the coal trading desk
- Assist in operations, coal loading and shipping to ensure smooth supply chain for the thermal coal trading book
- Keep up to date on coal news and industry events to inform trading / sourcing decision making
- Handle negotiations and contract execution for physical thermal coal trade
