Business Function

Risk Management Group works closely with our business partners to manage the bank’s risk exposure by balancing its objective to maximise returns against an acceptable risk profile. We partner with origination teams to provide financing, investments and hedging opportunities to our customers. To manage risk effectively and run a successful business, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure

To ensure quality of Credit Portfolio is maintained within acceptable parameters as defined in Credit Policy and the bank's business strategy as well as compliant with regulatory requirement as governed by regulatory.

Key Accountabilities :

• Recommending credit proposal from IBG 1 &2 and IBG 3&4 Business within the delegation of authority or reviewing and providing recommendations of credit proposal for Credit Committee's Approval Regulatory Authorities
• Providing guidance to Business on the preparation of acceptable quality of credit proposal.
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable Credit Policies & Procedures and where apparent, highlight any non-compliance with Laws and Regulations.
• Establishing and driving strong credit culture.
• Ensuring facilities are structured to suit risk profile of the borrower.
• Identifying and analyzing trends and concentrations that could affect the risk and performance of portfolios.
• Conducting site inspections / surprise check to borrower that can be conducted individually or jointly with the business to safeguard the Bank’s interest.
• Ensuring breach of Credit Policies are highlighted with proper discussion on rationale and mitigations for breaches.
• Providing partnership with Business to identify new business opportunities.
