Mechanical Supervisor

Enersense Engineering is currently looking for experienced Mechanical Supervisors to join our client's industry-leading team working on one of the world's largest pulp and paper mills. The duration for this position is 1 year, and the work is located on-site, in Indonesia. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee mechanical installation, maintenance, and commissioning activities on a major industrial project. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working in the lime kiln and recausticizing prosess areas in the OKI project in Indonesia. Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation, maintenance, and commissioning activities on-site.
• Ensure all mechanical work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Manage and lead mechanical teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.
• Conduct inspections and quality control checks on mechanical equipment and systems.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, providing practical solutions to maintain project progress.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, work permits, and inspection records.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as electrical, civil, and operations teams, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Participate in meetings with stakeholders, providing updates on mechanical work progress. Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence. Requirements :
• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience on the OKI project in Indonesia is mandatory.
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in mechanical supervision within industrial, pulp & paper, or large-scale construction projects.
• Proven experience of working in the lime kiln and recausticizing prosess areas
• Previous experience in large-scale industrial projects, especially in the pulp & paper or power plant sectors.
• Familiarity with international industry standards and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and mechanical schematics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
• Willingness to work in a dynamic project environment with strict deadlines.
• Experience working with multinational teams and contractors.
