PRIMARY OBJECTIVES :
The Development and Acquisitions Manager will be instrumental in identifying, analyzing, and securing new hotel development and acquisition opportunities. This role demands a proactive individual with exceptional networking skills, strong analytical abilities, and extensive knowledge of the hotel industry.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES : (Include but not limited to : )
Networking and Relationship Building :
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including property owners, brokers, investors, and industry professionals.Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand our reach and identify potential deals.Develop strategic partnerships to enhance growth opportunities.Commands attention and inspires confidence through verbal and non-verbal communication skills.Projects enthusiasm, energy, and positivity, creating a dynamic and engaging atmosphere.Builds and maintains a strong personal brand that resonates with target audiences, enhancing credibility and trustworthiness.Analytical Excellence :
Conduct thorough market research and feasibility studies to identify viable hotel development and acquisition opportunities.Analyze financial models, investment returns, and risk assessments to support decision-making processes.Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and investors.Hotel Industry Acumen :
Utilize deep knowledge of the hotel market, trends, and competitive landscape to inform strategy and decision-making.Oversee due diligence processes, including site visits, property evaluations, and contract negotiations.Collaborate with internal teams such as finance, legal, and operations to ensure seamless project execution.KEY POSITION CRITERIA :
Strong understanding of Hotel & Resorts operationsExperience in hotel development, acquisitions, or related rolesProven track record of successful deal-making and project management in the hospitality sectorStrong network within the hotel industry and related fieldsExceptional analytical and financial modeling skillsExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilitiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environmentExceptional organizational abilityExceptional attention to detailAdvanced skills in MSWord, MS Excel and MS PowerpointBroad networking and strong ability to build relationsExcellent time management, organization & presentation skillsExperience in working in an environment of negotiating management and real estate acquisition desirableStrong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work autonomouslyA team player, willing to be flexible in tasks and hours worked as the role and deadlines require.Where Memories Start with You
