Overview

We’re looking for a UX Lead to shape and elevate the end-to-end product experience. This role bridges strategy and craft - balancing user needs, business goals, and team growth. You’ll guide designers and writers, establish strong systems, and define what success in UX looks like across the company.

Responsibilities

Define UX Success Criteria : Partner with stakeholders to establish clear measures of UX quality and usability; track and advocate for these standards across product development.
Design System Stewardship : Build, maintain, and evolve a scalable design system that ensures consistency and efficiency across platforms.
Voice & Tone Governance : Collaborate with UX writers to define and maintain copy standards that reflect brand personality and support usability.
Leadership & Team Management : Lead, mentor, and grow a cross-disciplinary UX team (designers and writers), providing guidance, feedback, and career development support.
Collaboration & Influence : Work closely with product and engineering leads to champion user-centered design and align execution with strategy.
Hands-on Contribution : When needed, contribute directly to design and writing work to model best practices and set quality benchmarks.

Qualifications

6+ years in UX design, including at least 1 year in a leadership role.

Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design processes and outcomes.

Proven experience building or managing a design system.

Skilled in shaping voice and tone guidelines in collaboration with UX writers.

Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Track record of mentoring and developing designers or writers.
