Overview

PT.Trans Ocean Consulting (Trans-Ocean Consulting) is established by a Japanese Certified Public Accountant from BIG 4 who is living in Indonesia. Our company has strategic ties with an accounting firm and a law firm in Japan. We aim to transfer from Japan the know-how and knowledge for advanced consulting and strive to provide services in Indonesia with the same quality as in Japan.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance / Taxation (Master’s degree is an advantage).
Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role (preferably in an accounting or tax consulting firm).
Brevet A & B certification required; Brevet C is a plus.
Strong background in diverse projects such as valuation, due diligence, and business advisory is a plus.
Strong knowledge of PSAK, Indonesian Tax Law, and current regulations.
Hands-on experience with accounting software and e-filing tax systems.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
High integrity, strong attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
Financial analysis and risk management.
Tax planning and compliance reporting.
Negotiation and liaison with auditors, tax authorities, vendors, and clients.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and accounting software (e.g., Accurate, SAP, Jurnal.id).

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage finance, accounting, and tax operations in compliance with PSAK and Indonesian Tax Regulations.

Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and analyses to support management decisions.

Ensure accurate calculation, payment, and reporting of all tax obligations (PPh, VAT, Withholding Taxes).

Advise clients on tax matters and represent the company in dealing with tax authorities.

Supervise audits and maintain effective internal controls.

Manage cash flow, banking, and treasury functions.

Develop SOPs and ensure compliance across finance and tax operations.

Lead, coach, and develop the finance, accounting, and tax team.
