Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, supervising a team of accountants, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily accounting activities including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and review financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
- Ensure timely and accurate tax reporting and compliance with local tax regulations
- Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Support external and internal audits by providing required documentation and information
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the accounting team
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making and improve financial processes
