Head of Finance and Accounting

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance, Accounting & Tax Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in establishing and managing end-to-end financial operations for our growing business, starting from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in setting up finance processes, ensuring tax compliance, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making. Basic Mandarin proficiency is preferred to support communication with regional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and establish finance, accounting, and tax functions from scratch, including policies, internal controls, and reporting standards.
• Manage the full cycle of accounting operations : AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and management reports.
• Handle tax compliance, including VAT, corporate income tax, and employee income tax filings.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support business growth.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and government institutions as needed.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
