Accounting Senior Specialist

Ensuring accuracy of financial statements, collaborates with superior / management to develop budgets for the business, usually on a monthly basis, as well as monitors actual performance versus budget and reports variances to management.

Coordinating, developing, and maintaining the company’s financial reporting systems and processes

Analysing data and financial systems processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and communicating recommendations to management

Forecasting trends and business opportunities

Providing training and support to financial systems users, including managing team performance.

Design and issuance of monthly reporting

Coordinate, create, and maintain consolidated financial reports

Develop data models and reports based on the finance business process to ensure all the requirements are covered and financial data is completely captured.

Ensure optimization of business processes through integration and automation of the system, including utilizing updated technologies to support the process.

Requirements

Possess a bachelor's degree from a reputable University in Finance or Accounting.

The chartered professional accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.

Experience with business intelligence software is also preferred.

Have at least 5 years of experience in a related area or similar position, a combination of 3 years of experience as an external auditor is preferred.

Detail-oriented and have strong logical thinking and analytical, communication, result-oriented, and collaboration skills.

Experience in ERP (Dynamix, SAP, Oracle, etc), excellent accounting software user, and administration skills are preferable.

Possess knowledge about the financial cycle and its surrounding operations.

Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Passionate about system implementation and business analysis in Financial areas.

Experience with creating statutory financial statements.

Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end and year-end close process.
