- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or related field
- Masters degree is a plus
- Relevant professional certifications (AWS / Azure / GCP Kubernetes Scrum Master / PMP) are advantageous
Experience
- Minimum 5-7 years of software engineering experience with at least 2-3 years in engineering management or tech lead roles
- Proven track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within scope
- Experience managing engineering teams of 5 people
- Background in client-facing or consulting environments preferred
- Experience with enterprise software delivery in regulated industries (financial services healthcare government) is a plus
- Track record of implementing engineering best practices and improving team processes
Technical Skills
- Software Development : Strong foundation in software engineering principles design patterns and clean code practices
- Cloud Platforms : Hands-on experience with Azure and / or GCP including compute storage and managed services
- Container Orchestration : Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments
- CI / CD : Experience designing and implementing CI / CD pipelines (GitLab CI GitHub Actions Azure DevOps)
- AI / ML Systems : Familiarity with AI chatbot architectures NLP systems and ML model deployment
- Voice Technologies : Understanding of VoIP SIP protocols and real-time communication systems (LiveKit experience is a plus)
- Monitoring & Observability : Experience with Prometheus Grafana ELK stack or similar tools
- API Design : Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration patterns
- Database Systems : Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL MongoDB)
