Role Overview : Financial Risk Management (FRM)

The FRM position is responsible for implementing and maintaining the FRM program framework at FWD Insurance Indonesia to align with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF), Risk Appetite Framework (RAF), Enterprise Risk Management Policy (ERMP), and regulatory compliance, including fostering a strong risk culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Risk in updating and monitoring risk management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with ERMF, RAF, and ERMP.
• Execute the Risk Management Framework, including conducting and facilitating Risk and Control Assessments, challenging business units to identify control gaps, and creating action plans, focusing on Financial Risk Management.
• Implement Risk Culture initiatives to raise employee awareness of ERMF, RAF, ERMP, and risk management practices, aligned with the annual Risk Plan and RCKPI.
• Provide solution-oriented advice on risk management matters to all channels / departments, including reviewing Product Approval Reports.
• Generate and deliver reports to local management and group office, such as Financial Risk Reports, in a timely manner.
• Support risk assessments for company initiatives / projects to mitigate potential negative impacts.
• Complete and monitor Key Control Self-Assessment (KCSA) and annual risk register reviews.
• Track and ensure timely closure of audit issues by business units.
• Maintain strong relationships with business units and conduct training to increase awareness of financial risk management.
