As a D365 Technical Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering tailored ERP solutions to clients, ensuring that technical implementations align perfectly with business requirements. You’ll act as the bridge between technical and functional teams, providing customization, integration, and implementation expertise on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. This position requires both technical depth and strong client communication skills, as you’ll be guiding customers through solution design, system integration, and optimization. You’ll also contribute to continuous improvement, testing, and documentation to ensure high‑quality delivery across projects.
Accountabilities
- Collaborate with customers to understand technical and functional requirements, ensuring solutions are delivered to specification.
- Design, develop, and customize Dynamics 365 F&O applications using X++, integrations, and related tools.
- Create detailed technical design documents based on functional specifications.
- Perform coding, debugging, testing, and documentation of custom modules and add‑ons.
- Support integration between D365 and customers’ existing systems, ensuring seamless data exchange.
- Conduct unit and integration testing to validate solutions prior to deployment.
- Provide technical support during implementation and post‑go‑live phases.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet project timelines, quality standards, and customer expectations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development policies, documentation, and best practices.
- Ensure all development work complies with company quality standards, security, and design guidelines.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.3+ years of experience in ERP software implementation, preferably with Dynamics 365 F&O.Strong technical background in X++, SQL, and system integration.Proven experience designing and delivering ERP customizations, with a focus on Finance, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing modules.Understanding of business processes related to finance and operations.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail and code quality.Excellent communication and client‑facing skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.Willingness to travel occasionally across the EMEA region (typically up to 20%).Benefits
