Job Summary Develops and manages the relationship with selected bancassurance partners at a global, regional or local level to promote the organization's propositions and to steer the business to deliver results. Ensures retention of existing portfolio, opportunities for growth and improvements of service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within bancassurance or insurance
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing high-performing teams
- Strong understanding of bancassurance models and insurance products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement the overall sales strategy for bancassurance to achieve revenue targetsIdentify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand distribution channelsLead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve high performanceSet clear performance objectives and provide ongoing coaching and supportBuild and maintain strong relationships with key banking partnersCollaborate with bank management to enhance product offerings and sales strategiesDevelop training programs for bank staff to enhance their knowledge of insurance productsConduct workshops and seminars to promote insurance salesAnalyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategiesMonitor sales performance and identify areas for improvementWork closely with product development teams to create compelling insurance products tailored for banking customersEnsure product offerings are compliant with regulatory requirementsPrepare and present sales reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and insightsAdjust strategies based on performance data and market feedback.Additional Details
