QA Engineer (Automation)

Overview

QA Engineer (Automation) role at The Software Practice Pte Ltd. You will design and implement automated and manual tests, debugging, and corrective actions before launches to ensure the product is error-free and reliable. Post-launch, you will manage clients' inquiries and undertake other responsibilities as needed for a seamless post-release experience, depending on project requirements. You should learn quickly, work independently, and be tenacious and resourceful enough to figure out things you don't know how to do.

Responsibilities

• Identify and review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback in collaboration with internal teams (e.g., developers, product managers).
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing.
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs using respective tools by thinking through different permutations of a business scenario.
• Monitor debugging process results and perform regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Design and maintain automated tests using tools such as Selenium and / or Playwright.
• Manage clients’ inquiries, providing application support to resolve reported issues and incidents.
• Coordinate regular system maintenance and upgrade activities, such as monthly maintenance and hotfix deployments.
