R&D Manager

Overview

Lead and develop the R&D team in developing innovative products, technologies, and solutions. Develop research programs incorporating current developments to improve existing products and to study the potential of new products. Understand customer expectations on to-be manufactured products. Develop and implement R&D strategies that align with the company’s goals and market needs. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure the successful delivery of R&D projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and sales, to bring new products to market. Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging team members to explore new ideas and approaches. Monitor industry trends, determine and execute improved technology used by suppliers, competitors, and customers to identify opportunities for innovation. Document all phases of research and development activities. Prepare and present reports on R&D activities, progress, and outcomes to senior management. Be present at industry conferences or exhibitions on research topics of interest.

Requirements

Requirements :

• Bachelor\'s or master’s or doctoral degree in chemistry or chemical engineering.
• Provent experience in R &D management role of specialty / performance chemicals, for a minimum of 10 years.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively with management, customers, colleagues, and lower-level staffs.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Experience with innovation management and bringing new products to market.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
• Good business sense.
• Applicant must be willing to work in Merak–Banten.
