Consultant, APAC Talent Acquisition at Eaton. Eaton is an intelligent power management company dedicated to protecting the environment and improving the quality of life for people everywhere. We make products for the data center, utility, industrial, commercial, machine building, residential, aerospace and mobility markets.
This role focuses on assessing and managing credit exposure, timely collection of payments for EA customers, reviewing finance-related contract clauses, negotiating deviations, and ensuring approvals are obtained per process. The role collaborates with legal, customer service, sales, Treasury, external customers and insurance brokers to facilitate project tender reviews and ensure contract reviews are tracked and delivered timely. It also involves managing project billing progress with stakeholders and supporting proactive payment collection to meet working capital targets.
Responsibilities
- Assess and manage credit exposure and ensure timely collection of payments for EA customers.
- Review EA contract clauses related to finance, highlight deviations, communicate findings, negotiate terms, and obtain required approvals per process.
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners (legal, customer service, sales, Treasury) and external parties (insurance brokers) to facilitate project tender contract reviews and ensure timely tracking and delivery of contracts.
- Manage project billing progress with stakeholders and support proactive payment collection on milestone-based projects.
- Review and manage customer credit limits, support project bidding on financial terms, and ensure appropriate credit terms are applied.
- Communicate and review finance contract terms with cross-functional partners, customers and insurance, ensuring reviews are tracked and deviations are approved per internal processes.
- Process banker’s guarantees : submission, negotiation with Treasury and sales, and final issuance.
- Perform daily reviews of customers on credit hold and release as appropriate in the system.
- Analyze financial data to determine credit limits and terms for new and existing customers, considering market practices and business risk, and provide recommendations.
- Ad-hoc project and audit support as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.At least 4 years of finance experience in a credit analyst role with strong financial and credit analysis skills, and knowledge of credit risk management and control concepts.Strong commercial knowledge with experience supporting project bidding on financial terms.Experience with banker’s guarantees, including submission, negotiation with Treasury and sales, and final issuance.Good facilitation, negotiation, and communication skills; ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners.Experience in SAP is preferred; English, Bahasa Melayu, Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin language skills are advantageous.Proficient in Excel; ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines; travel availability.Experience in a similar industry and multinational company is advantageous.Additional Details
