Overview

Alex Solutions is a global software company focusing on metadata management. We empower organizations to harness their data and AI with our Data Catalog and Data Governance platform. We are hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our remote team and contribute to building world-class solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end and back-end systems for our data platform.
  • Implement features using modern frontend technologies such as React, TypeScript, and Material-UI, ensuring performance and usability.
  • Build robust backend services using Java, Scala, Spring Boot, and Play Framework, with integration to databases and APIs.
  • Optimize rendering and implement lazy loading techniques to enhance front-end performance.
  • Design and manage RESTful APIs for secure and efficient data exchange.
  • Maintain and optimize database interactions with PostgreSQL, Neo4j, and Elasticsearch.
  • Develop unit and integration tests using Jest, React Testing Library, JUnit, and Mockito.
  • Contribute to state management tooling (e.g., Redux) and ensure alignment with Agile methods using Jira for planning.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and contribute to platform innovation.

Technical Skills

  • Frontend : React, TypeScript, Material-UI; lazy loading, performance optimization, and Redux for state management.
  • Testing : Jest, React Testing Library; JUnit, Mockito for backend testing.
  • Backend : Java, Scala, Spring Boot, Play Framework; RESTful APIs.
  • Databases : PostgreSQL, Neo4j, Elasticsearch.

    • Industry Knowledge

  • Agile methodologies and tools like Jira; code management with GitHub or GitLab.
  • Best practices for clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

    • General Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setup.
