Senior Urban Designer

The Senior Urban Designer role at Arup involves delivering high-quality planning and urban design analysis, documentation, and visualization across various spatial scales, including local to city-wide projects. This position requires managing project components, engaging with clients, and providing technical support to the team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality planning and urban design analysis, documentation, and visualization for masterplanning and transit-oriented development projects.
• Manage components of project delivery and engage with clients to deliver key content.
• Conduct spatial analysis to understand project context and opportunities across various urban typologies.
• Develop conceptual designs and visually present analysis and ideas using hand sketches and software like Adobe Creative Suite and 3D software.
• Support project management and delivery, including mentoring and developing junior staff.
