Overview

Job Purpose The IT Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day IT operations of the office, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting of IT systems, and preparing documentation, reports, and proposals in Microsoft Word and Excel. The role ensures smooth functioning of IT infrastructure and provides hands-on support for CCTV, panic button, CRM, and network systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • User & System Support

Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows, applications, and attendance systems.

  • Provide technical support to staff for PCs, printers, and software.
  • Manage accounts, passwords, and access rights.
  • CCTV & Panic Button Support
  • Assist in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of CCTV systems.

  • Support panic button installation, testing, and staff training.
  • Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance.
  • CRM & Networking Support
  • Provide first-level support for CRM system issues.

  • Perform troubleshooting of LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet issues.
  • Escalate advanced issues to IT Supervisor / Manager when needed.
  • Documentation & Proposal Preparation
  • Prepare IT documentation (manuals, system logs, troubleshooting guides).

  • Maintain IT asset records and configuration histories.
  • Draft proposals, reports, and technical documents in Microsoft Word.
  • Prepare and maintain data sheets, records, and reports in Microsoft Excel.
  • Reporting
  • Submit weekly progress and incident reports directly to IT Manager.

  • Support management by preparing presentation materials when required.
  • Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma / Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of IT support experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows systems, CCTV setup, and CRM software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic networking knowledge (LAN / Wi-Fi / IP).
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and reporting skills.
  • Good communication and ability to prepare proposals / reports.
  • Work Style & Values : Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and problem-solving mindset.
  • Capable of working independently with clear reporting lines.
