About the role

This full-time DPA (Designated Person Ashore) role is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Seven Offshore based in Jakarta Utara Jakarta Raya. As the DPA, you will play a vital strategic and operational role within the company, responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and overseeing the safety and security of the company's maritime operations.

What you'll be doing

• Serving as the primary point of contact between shore-based management and the company's vessels
• Monitoring and reviewing the company's Safety Management System to ensure it meets all applicable regulatory and industry standards
• Providing guidance and support to the vessel crew on safety, security and environmental protection matters
• Investigating incidents and near-misses, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Liaising with relevant authorities and regulatory bodies on compliance and safety-related matters
• Overseeing the development and implementation of training programs for the company's maritime personnel
• Maintaining comprehensive records and reporting on the company's safety performance
