Overview

A Financial Systems Specialist maintains, optimizes, and supports financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, accounting platforms, budgeting software) to ensure accurate financial operations, reporting, and compliance. They act as a bridge between finance teams and IT, enhancing system efficiency and user experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field.
  • 2+ years’ experience with financial systems (ERP, BI tools, etc.).
  • Technical skills : Figma, Excel, data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Knowledge of financial processes (AP / AR, GL, budgeting).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Management : Enhance, design, configure, troubleshoot, and upgrade financial systems (Oracle and Finance System In house).
  • Process Optimization : Streamline workflows for accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • User Support : Train finance staff, resolve technical issues, and create user guides.
  • Data Integrity : Ensure accuracy of financial data through audits, validation rules, and system controls.
  • Reporting : Develop dashboards, reports, and tools for stakeholders (e.g., budget vs. actuals, cash flow analysis).
  • Compliance : Align systems with accounting standards.
  • Project Collaboration : Partner with IT and finance teams on system implementations or integrations.
