Sales Engineer - Bandung

Position Overview

We're looking for a Sales Engineer based in Bandung to sell Weishaupt (German import) industrial burners. This is project-based technical sales: you'll identify opportunities, win tenders against competitors, and own the project through installation and commissioning. You'll also build long-term relationships by supporting existing clients with spare parts and technical service.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits to understand client combustion needs, come up with product specifications and propose Weishaupt burner solutions
• Prepare technical proposals and compete in tender processes against other suppliers
• Manage won projects end-to-end: coordinate delivery, oversee installation and commissioning
• Provide ongoing technical support and spare parts sales to existing clients
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical engineering (preferably) or Mechanical engineering
• At least 2 years of working experience
• Willingness to travel to client sites in Bandung and other cities 30% of the time

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: Rp 6-9 juta/month (depending on experience)

Work Environment & Location

• Based in Bandung with ~8 client site visits/week within Greater Bandung area or other cities
• Reports to Weishaupt division head. Partners with a technician responsible for installation. Responsible for ~50 clients (initially start with 5-10 clients).
