Testing Engineer

Support completion of testing activities efficiently and cost-effectively, and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. Test product and system and validate material to ensure that these follow prescribed technical specifications .

How you’ll make an impact :

You will maintain HSE standard in production line, support test engineers with product, system testing prepare standard test record and complete test documentation, follow work plan and cost estimates for work in one’s area of responsibility, ensure quality timely implementation with targeted cost.

You will support risk assessment (ABRA) to assure safe systems of work and take appropriate actions, assist with customer or official contacts and communication pertaining to test assignments or meetings, using standard processes and tools and maintain / calibrate the tools in timely manner.

You will deliver results – Prioritize, Act, Achieve, result and safe orientation – define own plan withing larger strategy & contribute to strategy beyond own area in safely manner, collaborate – Listen, Value, Engage.

You will act responsibly – Integrity, Transparency, Safety, teamwork and collaboration – Actively demonstrate teamwork & facilitate collaboration cross function.

You will be working with safety in High Priority and follow Life Saving Rules as License to Operate, conduct and lead the FATs (Factory Acceptance Tests) with / without customers inspections.

You will maintain test equipment’s (HV testing transformer, gas filling station, electrical and mechanical measurement equipment, instruments and infrastructure) and sustain proper continuous.

You will support continues improvement process by providing any valuable feedback whenever possible, employee shall also carry out any task that is assigned by management necessary to fulfil the job requirements.

Your background :

Minimum background at least Diploma from electrical Engineering.

Minimum 3 years of experience.

Responsible for performing various testing for HV product (AIS & GIS). Duties usually consist of making measurements, performing several routine quantitative and qualitative analytical tests, performing calculations and determinations on tests, and evaluating product characteristics.

Familiar with the use of standard and industry specific specialized HV equipment Analyses test results and experiments to ensure conformity.

Maintains records of analysis and tests An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

Works independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.

Proficiency in English communication.
