Accountant

Accountant (Based in Indonesia) Based in: Regional Office in Indonesia. Initial/ temporary placement in Pekanbaru/ Balikpapan, Indonesia. Responsibilities

• - Preparation and finalization of annual financial statements; monthly and quarterly management accounts; monthly cash flow forecast and annual estimates, including meeting datelines.
• - Statutory financial reporting compliance and liaise with external auditor and lead the audit process.
• - Oversee tax compliance, tax audit and tax filing.
• - Handling and supervising day to day accounting and financial operations.
• - Handling and managing finance and cash flow functions.
• - Leading and guiding a team of accounts, finance, and tax staff.
• - Any other tasks as assigned by superior.

Requirements

• - Professional accounting qualifications with minimum 3 to 5 years post-qualifying experience, preferably at least 2 years with a professional accounting firm/ big four audit firms.
• - Knowledge in plantation/refineries operations and forex hedging will be an added advantage.
• - In-depth knowledge of compliance requirements of MFRS / IFRS / PSAK.
• - Computer literate and able to work independently.
• - Knowledge in SAP will be an added advantage.
• - Possess good communication and inter-personal skills, and a dedicated team player.
• - Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• - Must be a member of accounting professional bodies.
• - Must be willing to travel and relocate to different regions in Indonesia.
