This role focuses on UI and front-end craftsmanship, translating high-fidelity designs into clean, responsive, accessible code and ensuring excellent look, feel, and performance across devices.
Role
We’re looking for an Intermediate Front End Developer who’s passionate about UI and front-end craftsmanship. You’ll bring high-fidelity designs to life with clean, responsive, accessible code — and care deeply about how things look, feel, and perform on every screen. You’ll work closely with senior engineers, designers, and marketers to deliver web experiences that are visually stunning and technically robust.
What are the main responsibilities for this role?
- Build responsive, accessible front end features using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS.
- Translate Figma designs into clean, maintainable components that match spec with high precision.
- Deep understanding of page rendering best practices to achieve optimal page load times.
- Add polish and interaction : hover states, transitions, scroll effects, animations.
- Support SEO and performance best practices through smart front end decisions.
- Test your work across modern browsers and devices to ensure consistent quality.
- Collaborate closely with designers to refine layout and elevate user experience.
What Success Looks Like
UI output closely matches design specs, with excellent attention to layout, spacing, and motion.Interfaces are accessible, fast, and easy to use across all devices.Code is modular, well-documented, and reusable.Feedback from design and product stakeholders is consistently positive.You’ll Need
4–5 years of commercial front end development experience.Strong knowledge of React, Next.js, TypeScript, and CSS frameworks like TailwindCSS.High attention to visual detail and a passion for building polished UIs.Experience translating Figma or similar design files into production-ready code.Familiarity with web accessibility (WCAG), performance benchmarks (Core Web Vitals), and modern frontend tooling.Clear communication and a collaborative mindset.Desirable but not essential :Experience with CMS-driven websites (e.g. Storyblok).Familiarity with animation libraries (Framer Motion, GSAP).Interest in design systems or component libraries (e.g. Storyblok).Why work for Crimson?
