Our client is a stealth-mode fintech startup focused on unlocking capital for decarbonisation. Their mission is to enable businesses—large and small—to reduce their carbon footprint by making climate action more financially attractive today than later in the decade.

They are building an innovative platform that helps businesses access lower-cost financing for decarbonisation projects, making it easier for them to take meaningful climate action now. With backing from experienced operators and investors, They're in an exciting early stage and looking to grow a purpose-driven team passionate about sustainability, finance, and impact.

The Role

We’re hiring a Data Operations Associate to support day-to-day data pipeline execution, model performance tracking, and dataset validation across our growing suite of climate-focused tools. This is a hands-on technical operations role, working at the intersection of data, engineering, and analytics.

You will be responsible for :

Running and monitoring Python scripts for data processing, feature extraction, and model evaluation.
Downloading raw datasets and reports from various sources and pushing them through established data pipelines.
Evaluating model outputs using predefined metrics and documenting findings for review by data scientists.
Validating data inputs and outputs from feature extraction pipelines to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Troubleshooting data issues collaboratively with engineering and analytics teams.
Maintaining clear and organized logs, reports, and documentation for internal review and auditability.

Ideal Profile

You have 1–3 years of experience in data operations, analytics, or a related technical role.

You have basic proficiency in Python and are comfortable running scripts in a command-line or notebook environment.

You’re familiar with tools such as Jupyter, Git, SQL, and basic data pipeline frameworks.

You are highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership over data accuracy and quality.

You have experience working with cross-functional teams (data science, engineering, product).

You are eager to grow in a fast-paced, mission-driven startup.
