Bachelor Degree in Naval Architecture or related marine Engineering Working experience in Marine Industry / Marine Transportation Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines Ability to pay attention to detail Self-motivated and proactive Ability to conduct engineering design and verification for vessels and cargo . Job Purpose :
Responsible for engineering design, calculations for pre-qualifications, tenders, and projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Responsible for all engineering designs and calculations to ensure project success.
- Verify the suitability of selected vessels for the project requirements for Pre-Qual and Project.
- Develop and optimize the stowage / carriage capacity of the vessels for Pre-Qual and Project
- Carry out Transportation Analysis.
- Conduct verification calculations with the Master of the vessel on the stability and sea worthiness of the vessel.
- Collaborate with Ops and HSQE to ensure the design of cargo will enable efficient and safe workflow.
- Prepare Stowage plan, towing arrangements, outfitting drawings etc.
- Maintain the registry of drawings.
- Perform site inspection when required.
- Adhere to the company HSQE policies and practices.
