Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and execute the company's government relations strategy at national, provincial, and regional levels.
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with key government institutions, regulators, and industry associations.
  • Map and manage stakeholders across ministries, regional authorities, and local communities to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Represent the company in industry associations, forums, and policy discussions to align national objectives with business priorities.
  • Support mining project development from exploration to operations by addressing regulatory, political, and social challenges.
  • Provide strategic counsel to senior management on regulatory changes, political risks, and stakeholder expectations.

The Successful Applicant

Requirements :

  • 20+ years of progressive experience in government relations, public affairs, or external relations, preferably within mining, energy, or natural resources.
  • Strong track record in stakeholder mapping and engagement at national and regional levels.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain trusted partnerships with government and industry associations.
  • Deep understanding of Indonesian mining regulations, permitting processes, and political dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, lobbying, and negotiation skills, with the ability to represent the company at the highest levels.
