This is not just about editing. We want someone who lives and breathes cinematic storytelling — with a sharp eye for framing, lighting, rhythm, and emotion. As our Senior Video Editor, you will craft videos that don’t just deliver messages, but leave a lasting impression.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creative process from raw footage to final cinematic output.
- Edit high-quality video content for campaigns, commercials, and branded storytelling.
- Apply advanced cinematography knowledge to ensure visuals are emotionally engaging.
- Work closely with the creative & production team to shape mood, tone, and narrative flow.
- Enhance footage through expert use of color grading, sound design, and visual effects.
- Maintain BookCabin’s creative direction and push boundaries of visual storytelling.
- Mentor junior editors and guide best practices in cinematic editing.
Qualifications
5+ years of proven experience as a Video Editor with strong cinematography skills.Portfolio / reel showcasing cinematic storytelling, advanced editing, and color grading.Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve (for color), and other editing tools.Strong understanding of visual composition, lighting, and camera movements.Ability to create mood and emotional depth through editing rhythm.Experience with motion graphics / animation is a plus.Highly detail-oriented, creative, and able to work under deadlines.Seniority level
