We are hiring : Engineering Lead

We are looking for an Engineering Lead who is passionate about building scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems that power Baskit’s national operations as we expand across Java and beyond.

This role will work closely with the Head of Product and play a critical role in designing and optimizing the core infrastructure behind our ERP, Cashflow, and Risk platforms.

If you have 7+ years of experience as a software engineer (Supply chain management or ERP background preferred), strong proficiency in leadership / management role, and a knack for problem-solving in fast-paced environments, we want to hear from you!

IMPORTANT : We are only considering candidates who are able to commute to our BSD office.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and oversee scalable system architectures across ERP, Cashflow, RiskWatch, and AI platforms.
• Define best practices for CI / CD, testing, and code quality across backend, frontend, mobile, and DevSecOps teams.
• Oversee system reliability, data integrity, and infrastructure security.
• Lead a cross-functional team of backend, frontend, mobile, DevSecOps, and QA engineers.
• Mentor team members, conduct performance reviews, and guide professional development.
• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and technical excellence.
• Partner with Product and AI teams to integrate intelligence into workflows (e.g., prompt-based automation, RAG systems, and smart decision layers).
• Translate business goals into technical strategies that align with Baskit’s product roadmap.
• Ensure engineering resources are allocated efficiently to meet product milestones.
• Maintain strong communication with stakeholders (Product, PMO, Business, and Data).
• Oversee incident response, release management, and documentation processes.
• Continuously optimize system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
