About Veratix.ai

Veratix.ai is building the world’s first multi-agent AI platform to automate global certification (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and beyond). Businesses today spend months and tens of thousands of dollars chasing evidence, mapping controls, and preparing for audits. We’re reimagining this process - compressing certification readiness from 10–31 months to just weeks with AI-driven evidence collection, gap analysis, and remediation.

We’re looking for our first AI Engineer to join the founding team and help us design, build, and scale the core agentic intelligence that powers Veratix.ai .

Role Overview

As an AI Engineer, you’ll be responsible for building the core AI capabilities that drive our compliance automation platform. You’ll work on multi-agent orchestration, RAG pipelines, and domain-specific fine-tuning to make Veratix.ai smart, reliable, and audit-ready.

You’ll collaborate closely with the cofounder and other engineers to ensure AI agents connect seamlessly to evidence sources (GitHub, Okta, AWS, etc.), run compliance gap analysis, and auto-generate audit-ready outputs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement multi-agent AI systems (Evidence Collector Agent, Gap Analysis Agent, Remediation Agent).
• Build RAG pipelines (vector DB, embeddings, retrieval strategies) to contextualize LLM outputs with compliance evidence.
• Fine-tune or adapt LLMs on compliance datasets (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR controls, gap analysis Q&A).
• Develop rule-based + AI hybrid evaluators for compliance scoring and policy generation.
• Integrate AI modules with backend services (Python / FastAPI, Node.js) and orchestration tools (Temporal, Celery).
• Ensure outputs meet audit-readiness standards (traceability, reproducibility, explainability).
• Monitor AI performance with metrics (accuracy, hallucination rate, time-to-response, cost per run).
• Stay up-to-date with LLM advances (RAG, fine-tuning, MCP) and implement relevant techniques.
