Indonesia is, not only in size but also in number of projects, one of the largest countries PUM is active. We expect to continue our growth in the coming years and to facilitate this, we need to strengthen our country management. Consequently, we are looking to add a country manager to our team. For our new colleague, the focus will be on a part of Indonesia yet to be determined. Ideally, we are looking for a local candidate, that is someone residing - and permitted to work - in Indonesia. That being said, we welcome Dutch candidates residing in the Netherlands too. Who are you
Being a Country Manager at PUM
In this role, you will have your own responsibilities but will also have to join forces. It is therefore important that you are a team player. Besides the two country managers, the country team of Indonesia consists of 15 representatives and one project officer.
As a country manager at PUM, your role as a people manager is pivotal. You’re not merely coordinating; you’re supporting positive change. By implementing PUM’s strategy in Indonesia, you spearhead impactful projects that contribute to sustainable growth in SMEs.
What being a country manager will look like
You’ll be actively engaged with PUM, averaging 16 - 20 hours a week, often spread across multiple days. This includes regularly checking and responding to emails, addressing any urgent matters that may arise. Your responsibilities include :
The country manager role is an unpaid / volunteer position with a small expense allowance. We prefer individuals committed for up to 4 years.
