HSE Officer

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the overall HSE compliance at the site.

Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and procedures in alignment with company HSE policies.

Organize monthly safety meetings and conduct regular site safety audits, reporting findings to senior management.

Deliver safety training sessions and other HSE-related education as directed by leadership.

Carry out routine safety inspections—daily, weekly, and monthly—and document findings accordingly.

Collaborate with both workers and management to establish and maintain a safe working environment.

Perform risk assessments for on-site tasks and operations.

Conduct audits of the site and its contractors / subcontractors; issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and document accidents or incidents.

Client and Stakeholder Engagement

Foster strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Support the creation of a proactive safety culture on-site.

Apply prior experience in infrastructure project HSE management effectively.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.

At least 12 years of professional experience, preferably in Operations & Maintenance, including exposure to pumping stations, construction, rehabilitation projects, and wastewater systems.
