Warehouse Manager

Overview

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Warehouse or Logistics Manager in medium to large-sized companies. Proficient in data processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace ). Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, strong time management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience leading at least 5 supervisors or a total of 500+ employees. Willingness to work shifts. Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently. Detail-oriented with the ability to identify problems and find effective solutions. Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Have a proven track record in applying lean principles and Six Sigma to optimize order fulfillment processes and drive operational excellence.

Job Description

• Develop and execute a comprehensive warehouse strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
• Oversee daily warehouse activities, ensuring optimal efficiency and productivity.
• Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Conduct strategic planning, budgeting, and organizational development.
• Identify and implement innovative solutions to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Leverage technology and automation to drive operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Implement robust inventory management systems to maintain accurate records and optimize stock levels.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and track performance against established goals.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of operations, products, and procedures within the specific division.
• Oversee staff performance, training, and career development.
• Prepare regular warehouse operational reports and analyze data to improve efficiency.
• Communicate with vendors and third parties regarding warehouse and operational needs.
• Identify and resolve problems that may arise in warehouse operations.
• Provide recommendations to management to improve warehouse workflow and operational systems.
• Maintain efficient inbound and outbound logistics KPIs at the most optimal cost.
• Responsible for inventory (including stock quantity, accuracy, and safety stock).
